Available puppies

Our current and upcoming Bernese Mountain Dog litters. Listings are updated the moment a puppy's status changes — a puppy marked "available" really is available today.

Puppy photos coming soon. Our litters are photographed in week three, once their eyes are open and their tricolour markings settle. The thumbnails below will be replaced right after the photo session.

Every other detail — sex, colouring, date of birth, price, vaccinations — is accurate.

Reserving

How to reserve a puppy.

We don't work on a first-come, first-served basis. After we've talked — by email, phone or during a visit to the chalet — we add your family to the litter that suits you.

Matching happens around week six. We've watched every puppy since birth: the one who follows you everywhere, the one who settles alone, the one nothing rattles. That's what decides which puppy goes to which family — not the markings picked from a photo.

A $500 deposit confirms your place and applies to the total price. It's refundable if the litter doesn't produce the right puppy for you.

Frequently asked

What people ask us most.

No, and that's deliberate. Matching is based on six weeks of observed temperament, not the size of a white blaze. A very dominant puppy placed in a home with young children becomes a problem about a year later. We introduce you to the puppy or puppies that suit your household, and you decide from there.

No. Every family collects their puppy at the chalet. It lets us show you the handling routine one last time, hand over the complete file, and see the puppy leave in good conditions. We never ship puppies by carrier.

First round of vaccinations, complete deworming, a microchip registered in your name, a veterinary exam in the days before departure, a health record, registration papers, a few days' worth of food and a blanket carrying the litter's scent.

Yes. A two-year guarantee against serious hereditary conditions, given to you in writing when the contract is signed. It provides for replacement or refund, your choice. We also hand you the screening results for both parents.

They come back here, at any age, without judgement. It's written into the contract. A dog we brought into the world doesn't end up in a shelter or a classified ad — we take them back, or we find them a new home ourselves.

Between four and ten months, depending on the timing. Our litters are often full before they're born. If nothing matches right now, join the list: we notify waiting families before a litter is published on the site.

Nothing here suits you right now?

Join the waiting list. We notify registered families as soon as a breeding is confirmed — often three months before the puppies are born.
